Achievements of Skanda Gupta  After the death of Kumar Gupta, Skanda Gupta ascended the throne of his father. He was the last king of the Gupta dynasty.  Probably Skanda Gupta ruled from 455-46 AD.   Skanda Gupta's most significant achievement was the restoration of the empire's dominance by preventing the invasion of the Pousamitra nation. Skanda Gupta defended his empire from the onslaught of the Hun attack.   Skanda Gupta is considered to be the best masterpiece to repel the Hun attack.  The then Humayun leader Attila carried out massacres and destruction in large areas of the Indus River from the banks of the Danube.   After defeating the Huns, he rightly adopted the Vikramaditya Dictionary.
